Level 1 Physical Information

This form is to be filled in annually by the farm business owner to provide background farm physical data.

This questionnaire is essential for completion of the financial analysis and / or Level 2 farm physical analysis.  This is best completed as close as possible to the end of the farming season (March to June).

• When providing this information for the first time, complete the Level 1 Physical Questionnaire below:

• For subsequent seasons, login to DairyBase and select "pre-printed forms" for the year to be analysed. The pre-printed form contains the relevant information from the previous year and requires only this year's data to be filled in.  Please complete and send to your rural professional.

Level 2 Physical Detail 

There are two methods of collecting this information:

Recording throughout the current year:

DairyBase Physical Recording Workbook

With the DairyBase Physical Recording Workbook, you can progressively (month by month) record what is happening on your farm in relation to the DairyBase Level 2 Farm Physical Questionnaire.  There is an accompanying calendar which can be posted at the farm dairy as a reminder and quick recorder of daily events. 

For the accountant/consultant who supports you, there is a spreadsheet which allows data entry into DairyBase to be quickly achieved.  This handbook tool is a great way to record key information in a timely manner. The booklets may be useful to record year to year comparison of what was happening at a particular time on your farm.
