DairyBase Models
Models are generated using DairyBase data from historic seasons to project values for current and future seasons. Historic data are analysed by curve-fitting distributions to produce statistical models. Models are available for business type and regions.
DairyBase models have the benefit of showing how the data is distributed around the mean and medium. Models can be available right away at the beginning of seasons with the opportunity to improve accuracy due to a larger amount of data used in their generation.
