DairyNZ Estimates
An estimate of an average regional farm based on the latest DairyNZ Economic Farm Survey and MAF Farm Monitoring data.
The Economic Farm Survey contains eight regional farm models. These are derived from DairyBase financial data but corrections are made to ensure they are representative of New Zealand farms using New Zealand Dairy Statistics figures. As ‘Farm Average’ benchmarks become available over the course of the season these will replace DairyNZ estimates.
